This is a how to/advice list of sorts, with a packing list tailored specifically for missions in Honduras, especially the Tegucigalpa mission and CCM Mexico. When I was preparing for my mission I had no idea what kind of things to pack or what type of clothes would be best for the weather. So hopefully anyone with the same problem will find this blog post and it will be helpful in some way. *smile emoji*

I got my mission call in the mail on saturday (August 31, 2013)
Dear Sister Jaquez:
You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Honduras Tegucigalpa Mission. It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 18 months.
You should report to the Mexico Missionary Training Center on wednesday, January 8, 2014. You will prepare to preach the gospel in the Spanish language...I am pretty excited, as is my family. Central America... definitely somewhere I never expected. I'm super excited about going out of the country AND learning a different language. I have absolutely no experience with Spanish, so it would definitely be a great experience.
